PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE DARK / AT NIGHT

In the dark or at night, long exposure times are required which exceed the camera’s limit of 30 seconds. External exposure meters conduct measurement for as long as 60 minutes and deliver exposure values even where only little light is available. Either remote shutter release or shutter release with automatic timer is used for these long exposures. Experimentation with exposure times is a long, drawn-out process, whereas the exposure meter provides quick results.
